About Flat Rate Computer Solutions
Flat Rate Computer Solutions was founded in 2001 by Maurice Jacobs to provide a turn-key, full featured computer and network service to consumers and small businesses.
Since January 2006, we have begun focusing more and more on the small businesses – offering our managed care services to businesses with 3 or more PCs and small servers.
The company continues to grow and expand, but we have remained 100% customer focused during our growth. Even as we have added new technology and talent, customer satisfaction is at an all-time high. We're more responsive than ever, and customers rave about us to their friends and colleagues.
About Maurice Jacobs
Maurice Jacobs is the founder and President of Flat Rate Computer Solutions. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional and A+ Certified. He graduated from Computer Learning Center in 1997.
Maurice's career spans nearly 10 years, including positions at both small and larger companies. Prior to founding Flat Rate, he was the Technical Support Engineer for Northrop Grumman. He specifically supported Northrop’s executive staff including the President, Senior Vice Presidents and their administrative personnel.
In 2003, Maurice left Northrop Grumman and began building Flat Rate full time. He began helping consumers with their home computers. In 2006, Maurice began incorporating business clients into his practice. After noticing that many business owners would receive shocking invoices from their IT contractors, he decided to offer an “all you can eat” maintenance plan called the Support Managed Service contract to small business owners throughout the Washington DC metropolitan area.
